How Can I Help My Child?

Ensure your child has a good night sleep and a healthy breakfast.

Pack a hat, healthy snack/lunch, and water for your child.

Listen to your child’s stories after school each day.

Ask questions about what, how, and why they learned.

Read the communication that comes home or via email.

Learn more about our studies as a family through

discussion, research, family field trips, or ???

Read with your child each night in English or in your Primary Language.

Ensure your child reads 20 minutes daily.

If your primary language at home is a language other than English, please read to your child in your primary language…AND in English. Why? Because research proves that developing literacy in a primary language facilitates second language learning.
